Graph EXCLUSIVE locks also wait for writers holding SELECT FOR UPDATE/SHARE row locks before they INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE. Vector SHARE ROW EXCLUSIVE excludes its direct writers. Candidate keys are enumerated, parsed, and erased. This is costly: a subtree forget stalls writers for every tenant on the affected tables. Graph and vector calls commit separately unless their caller binds both to one PostgresPoolManager transaction; there is no cross-port atomicity by default.
